Who Can Use the Portal?

• Cohort Browser: Open to anyone interested in exploring aggregated data.

• Data Access: Available to researchers for approved projects. Researchers outside of IU will be required to have an IU collaborator involved in their project.

How to Request Access

1. Create an Account

2. Browse Available Data
   Use the cohort browser to review aggregated data and build cohorts of interest.

3. Submit a Request
   After identifying your cohort of interest, a request can be submitted for access to the selected de-identified data for that cohort.

4. Governance Review
   Requests are reviewed to ensure they align with the Indiana Biobank’s scientific and ethical standards, and a Data Use Agreement and a Terms of Access Agreement is administered for approval projects.

5. Secure Access Granted
   Approved users receive access to the specific de-identified datasets they need. The data will be made available in a secure enclave environment that allows analyses but limits data egress.
